Verloren
Auch als kleiner Streamer kann man mittlerweile ordentliches Geld auf Twitch verdienen. Wie viel man bspw. mit 150 Zuschauern verdient, haben wir hier berichtet. Der Streamer „Verloren“ ist einer dieser kleinen Creator der Plattfirm. Seit 2016 beschäftigt er sich mit Minecraft-Content und hat eine kleine, aber aktive Community. Durchschnittlich schauen ihm 90 Personen zu.
Sperre für Spenden
Selbst mit wenigen Zuschauern kommen ab und an größere Spenden rein. Von diesem Geld lebt der Streamer und ist deshalb darauf angewiesen, dass seine Fans ihm unkompliziert Geld spenden können. Als er kürzlich aber 120.000 Bits erhielt, kam ihm die Spende jedoch verdächtig vor. Verloren meldete die Spende, die umgerechnet etwa 1.100 Euro beträgt, bei Twitch.
Eigentlich hätte er die Sache auch einfach unter den Tisch kehren können. Aber der Streamer wollte ehrlich sein und wandte sich den den Twitch-Support. Anstatt jedoch seine Ehrlichkeit zu belohnen, bestrafte Twitch den Streamer. Man sperrte „Verloren“ vom Bit-Programm aus. Bedeutet, er kann auf diesem Wege kein Geld mehr erhalten. Wenn man von diesen winzigen Spenden lebt, eine absolute Katastrophe.

„Well I’ve kept this behind the scenes for over 2 months now and @TwitchSupport has absolutely failed me. TLDR at last tweet (5/5) I reported an issue 2 months ago about a suspicious donation from an anonymous cheerer that took place off stream (120,000 bits, yes $1.2K USD). (…)
Nearly 2 hours after the donation I noticed it in my StreamLabsOBS alert feed on my 2nd monitor. I made a support ticket requesting they freeze my account to ensure that donation was legitimate… And I didn’t want to spend money that would be eventually charged back. (…) I had a PayPal incident where I lost a lot of money due to a immature TTS spammer that disputed all their donations back in 2020. Twitch decided to block and suspend my account with no email or place to appeal until I noticed. I sent a lengthy email about my frustrations (…)
I received an email back within 1 HOUR that my account was back to normal, payments were unfrozen and that the bits donated (120,000) was removed out of the payout (fraudalent). Only problem was that whenever I started my stream I didn’t have the gifted sub/bits leaderboard Reported suspicious 1.2K USD donation offstream and requested my payment on hold until solved, they reviewed it and terminated me from ever recieving Bits.“
