So every year I visit my grandpa for a couple weeks to take care of him. Due to my aunt and his normal caregiver. He always loves to watch me play games, mainly for the story. So for ME Legendary Edition I told him that he would be the one making all the choices, and all the speech choices. He was thrilled about it. It ended up being a paragon run (for the most part) and he had the time of his life. He was also a pimp Shepard who had couple different romance partners lmao

Having the super easy modes especially the narrative in ME3 (although also near impossible to die on casual in the first 2 games) was so damn great. Although he did like seeing the combat and all the different battles, he likes the story/galaxy and being able to make all the choices 1000x more. I wish all games had similar settings options to ME for people who just want to chill and play the story. And for how happy he was the whole time I will always love Bioware 100x more than I already did.

Next time I visit we will be doing Witcher 3. At first was going to be RD2 but he wanted a game where he could make a ton of choices in again, especially a lot of speech conversations and RD2 only has a few choices. What is a little lame is that witcher 3’s easiest setting is still a semi challenge where you least have to pay attention a tiny bit and think a little bit in combat but thankfully I have played that game in full length at least 4x and on the hard modes so will not be a big issue.

If anyone else has any elderly family members, give it a try! great way to spend time with them. he hasn’t been able to stop talking about it to other people, was the most fun he had in 30 years (his words)“
